Upper Floor (main entrance):
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views. Directly accessible from here is an open-plan space that includes a living room with sofas, a cosy kitchen, a dining area with a table for eight, and a bathroom with a bathtub. This level opens onto a spacious terrace with a large dining table shaded by a sail cover, a fixed gas barbecue, and a charming stone sink—perfect for outdoor meals with sea views stretching to Calabria.

Middle Floor:
A staircase leads to the sleeping area featuring three bedrooms. The master bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a private terrace with two sun loungers. A second double bedroom and a single room (with a 1.40m bed) share a large bathroom with both a bathtub and a separate shower.

Lower Floor:
On this level, an open-plan living space includes a lounge with a TV and comfortable sofa, a dining area, a study corner, and a kitchenette. French doors lead out to the lawn area. Also on this floor is a double bedroom (with air conditioning) and a private bathroom with shower. The laundry room is located here as well.

From this level, an outdoor path with alternating stairs leads down to the swimming pool. Below the pool, guests will find a small gym (without air conditioning) and a bathroom with shower. A short path continues downhill to the parking area.

Exterior / Park:

Set on the slope of Monte Tauro, Villa Nemo enjoys a rare and privileged location in the centre of Taormina. The villa sits on terraced land, typical of the area, and is surrounded by Mediterranean maquis and flowering plants. The garden is distributed over various levels, following a descending path of approximately 500 metres that alternates between stairs and walkways. Along the way, guests will find lemon and fruit trees, palms, cacti, Aloe vera, and Strelitzia.

At the entrance level, there’s a spacious terrace with a sofa and armchairs, while the terrace at the dining level features a pergola-shaded dining table and built-in gas barbecue. The middle terrace is accessible from the master bedroom and includes two sun loungers. On the lower level, an English-style lawn leads to steps descending toward the swimming pool.

The final stretch of the path leads past the pool, the gym, and ends at the lower gate and parking area (with manual gate), which accommodates up to four cars. A pedestrian gate at the same level opens to the municipal road leading down to the beach via a combination of road, pathway, and stairs (approximately 1 km total).

Swimming Pool:

The infinity pool is located on the lowest terrace of the garden and is reached by a 150-metre downhill path that includes 20 steps. Thanks to a glass railing, the sea view remains uninterrupted. From here, guests can admire the coastline of Taormina all the way to Calabria.

The pool is surrounded by a 60-square-metre polished concrete solarium equipped with sun loungers, two sunshades, a four-poster bed, and a masonry bench that seats five. A small grassy area beyond the solarium leads to the gym and, further down, the parking area.

The rectangular pool is lined with mosaic tiles and measures 13 x 6 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.50 to 2.20 metres. It is chlorine-sanitised and accessed by internal steps. A hot-water shower is located nearby. The pool is illuminated for evening use and is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in November.

Location:

Villa Nemo is located just off a street that loops around Taormina’s perimeter near Porta Messina. It is only a 10-minute walk to Corso Umberto, the town’s main pedestrian street and historic centre. The villa is also close to the cable car and bus terminal. A stepped pathway leads to the bays of Mazzarò and Isola Bella—two of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The descent takes about 10 minutes, while the return can be made easier with a 3-minute cable car ride. The villa has two entrances: the upper pedestrian gate with stairs leading to the house, and the lower driveway gate with parking and stair access to the residence.
