The Suites – Historic Luxury

According to local tradition, the villa’s first owner, the young English aristocrat Miss Mabel Hill, reserved the master suite for King Edward VII, with whom she is believed to have shared a discreet romance. The suite dedicated to the King enjoys breathtaking views over Isola Bella, where he was said to watch the sunrise.

The Villa’s History

Constructed during the second half of the nineteenth century, the villa reflects the influence of English Neo-Gothic architecture, interpreted with exceptional decorative and structural refinement. During the 1940s it was purchased by Count Vittorio Cini of Venice, who commissioned the celebrated architect Tomaso Buzzi to restore the property. Widely regarded as one of the leading figures of twentieth-century Italian architecture, Buzzi enriched the residence with elegant artistic and humanistic references, helping establish Villa Mimì as one of Sicily’s most evocative historic estates.

Villa Pizzuta

Villa Pizzuta is an elegant Sicilian villa with a private pool, ideally located near the sea of Noto and the Vendicari Nature Reserve. Immersed in the extraordinary archaeological site of Colonna Pizzuta (3rd century BC), the property enjoys a truly privileged position between countryside and coastline.
The villa is just moments from the unspoiled sandy beaches of Pizzuta and Eloro and sits at the entrance of the Vendicari Nature Reserve, one of Sicily’s most enchanting natural areas. The lively seaside district of Lido di Noto—offering bars, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, and essential services—is only about 500 metres away.

Interior

The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area, featuring charming exposed wooden beams and three spacious double bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom, offering comfort and privacy for every guest.

On the lower floor, a bright and generous open-plan living space unfolds around a fireplace, with a comfortable lounge area and a large dining table seating up to 12 guests. This area flows seamlessly into a fully equipped dine-in kitchen and is complemented by a fourth guest bathroom.

The villa is equipped with all modern appliances, including a dishwasher, and is fully supplied with tableware, bed linen, and towels to ensure a seamless and relaxing stay.

Exterior

Outdoors, a wide panoramic veranda enveloped by jasmine and bougainvillea is furnished as an elegant open-air living room, featuring white sofas, rugs, and a refined stone-and-marble dining table for 12 guests.

Beneath the veranda, a built-in outdoor kitchen, barbecue, and open-air shower create the perfect setting for summer dinners and convivial gatherings.

The expansive Mediterranean garden, with lawn, olive trees, and fruit trees, leads through a suggestive stone amphitheatre to the private swimming pool (11 × 2 metres). The pool area is surrounded by a dedicated sunbathing and relaxation space, complete with an additional outdoor shower.

Set within one hectare of private grounds, the property includes almond and olive trees, a vegetable garden, and fruit trees, offering guests an authentic and tranquil atmosphere where the scents of the countryside blend harmoniously with the sea breeze.

Villa Elaia (Main Villa)

Set right above the water, Villa Elaia (Main Villa) offers 200 m² of beautifully crafted living space, distinguished by its refined layout and its stunning panoramic terrace perched on the cliffs, where guests can take in unforgettable views of the coastline and the open sea. Villa Jaya is a prestigious property nestled within the historic San Giorgio Estate in Sicily, centrally located amidst 120 hectares of organic orange groves and luxurious gardens. It offers guests a panorama of exceptional beauty, with sweeping views towards Mount Etna.

The estate holds profound Natural and Cultural Heritage status, dating back to the 15th century, and features ancient, visible archaeological remnants from the Siculi and Sicani tribes (5000 BC). It transitioned to certified organic cultivation in 2009. Guests are welcomed by the distinguished European hosts, who are agricultural experts and custodians of this lovingly restored legacy.

Villa Pillirina

Villa Pillirina is an exquisite villa with a swimming pool, nestled in the heart of the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area and only a few kilometres from the historic centre of Syracuse. Commanding a panoramic position, the property offers stunning sea views, which can be enjoyed in complete serenity from the beautiful pool, its sun deck, furnished terraces, and garden.

Recently constructed in 2022, this contemporary villa features spacious interiors spanning over 400 square metres, divided between a main villa and two welcoming annexes. In the main house, the living area is situated on the pool level and includes a large sitting room with a television, a dining room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The first floor comprises the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and another bathroom. The ground floor of the villa, which is self-contained and accessed from the outside, has a living area with a dining room and kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom.
