“Man spürt, dass die Eigentümerin Frau Francesca ihr Herzblut wohl in der Villa gesteckt hat. Wir wurden sehr grosszügig empfangen, so hatte es z. B. eine Weinflasche, Käse, Salami, Konfitüre, Brot, Pasta usw. im Kühlschrank und auf dem Tisch, so dass wir uns am ersten Abend um gar nichts kümmern mussten. Auch Grundnahrungsmittel wie Öl, Essig, Salz und Pfeffer waren reichlich vorhanden. Die Villa ist eingebettet in einer wunderschöner Landschaft – die grösste Herausforderung war eigentlich nur, nicht zu wissen, wo man sitzen soll, weil jeder Sitzplatz mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet ist. Selbst an kühlen Abenden ist beim Kaminfeuer (Holz wird auch zur Verfügung gestellt) Meersicht vorhanden. Rund um die Villa hat es Pferde, Esel, Pfaue und Katzen, die sich über eine Streicheleinheit sehr freuen. Francesco (Caretaker) kam jeden Tag vorbei und half uns, wo immer nötig, leerte die Abfallsäcke usw. Ein kleiner negativer Punkt ist die Abgeschiedenheit – wenn man auswärts essen gehen will, braucht man das Auto. Weil die Villa jedoch so schön und heimelig war und extrem gut eingerichtet, haben wir sehr gerne auch zu Hause gekocht und die Abende so genossen. Ich kann die Villa nur empfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

What an amazing, secluded beach.
The house and garden have been designed so beautifully that we hardly saw the point in leaving, but particularly good days out we’ve had at the temples of Selinunte and Planeta vineyard. We also had a lovely lunch at Vittorio in Porto Palo and we recommend Penny in Menfi if you’re looking for a close-ish supermarket.
