Trecastagni is a lovely mountain town about 15km north of Catania, sitting 600 metres up the slopes of Mount Etna. It’s a peaceful spot, full of Sicilian charm, with narrow streets, red-tiled roofs, and the beautiful Chiesa Madre San Nicola standing proudly at the top of the hill.
